Why is it important to tell the truth

Teachers taught us to have enough courage to tell the truth when we were little kids. However, someboby always thinks that truth isn't important wrongly.

I want to tell a story first:Aristotle, the great philosopher in Ancient Greece has ever said a "truth".If two objects fall at the same time, the heavier one will touch the land first. At that time, everyone believes to him because of his power and people's respect. No one thought of refuting or judging it whether right. So, this false truth stayed in people's mind for 2000 years.Until a man named Galileo appeared. After he thought it over and made a number of experiments. He confirms that the speed of objects falling depend on its shape but not weight at last.

I think Galileo is a good example. We should always tell the truth. For us,if we do so, it will be a contribution to the society and humans. Also, we will get respect and compliment. For this society,it is also a wealth because our world need truth to confirm some ideas.

So, all of us should realize that we must tell the truth at anytime.
